Started as a “side business” by James Adamitus in 1952

Capacity ranged from ¼” to 1-1/4” bar work

Services included bending, flaring, shaping and metal spinning

\

Important products included handrails, bed rails and vacuum parts

Future owner, Ed Bond, worked under James Adamitus

New ownership:

Jesse Bond owned Adams Automatic from 1967 to 1971

\

He also owned Exacto and Torex, in addition to Adams Automatic

\

All three companies thrived and were located close together on Main Street in Cleveland

New owner, same family:

In 1971, Ed Bond bought Adams Automatic from his father, Jesse Bond

\

Expanded into screw machine production with Brown and Sharp equipment

\

Focus remained on a high level of quality and quick delivery

\

Started conversion to CNC equipment in the 90’s and became a total CNC shop by 2001

Eric and Laura Dales purchase Adams Automatic:

Bought company from Edward and Adria Bond in 2012

Eric Dales started at Adams Automatic in 2000:

Became a Journeyman machinist through the Lorain County JVS apprenticeship program while at Adams during 2000 – 2004

Our highly skilled team utilizes a full line of CNC turning & milling equipment to produce quality parts quickly and efficiently.

As a contract manufacturer of high-quality CNC machined parts, we have experience in a variety of materials such as; carbon steels, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, bronze, and a variety of plastics. The quality parts that we machine serve in multiple industries including; hydraulic valve, gas and oil, pneumatic valve, pneumatic tooling, electronics, heavy equipment, fasteners, and many more.

He’s a native of Olmsted Falls and earned his journeyman CNC machining certificate through Lorain County JVS. He is passionate giving back to the manufacturing industry, about his wife, Laura, his two daughters, and all things mechanical.

Laura is a strategic sales and marketing professional who enjoys exceeding expectations. An Olmsted Falls native, Laura is an alumnus of Olmsted Falls High School (go Bulldogs!) She is also an alumnus of CSU with a major in marketing and minor in labor relations and earned her MBA from Baldwin Wallace University. She enjoys working with people and spends her free time with their two daughters, cheering at volleyball games, watching horseback riding or volunteering with Girl Scouts by leading two troops.
